The Careless, Apotheosis of Apathy, God of Air
Ueyar is a deity that embodies apathy and indifference, often going with the wind and showing little concern for the actions of mortals on the Prime Material Plane. Aware of his dwindling worship and his limited time as a god, Ueyar has become a truly apathetic deity.
History
Ueyar was once a man of great passion and deep devotion to the tenets of his mountaintop monastery. Day in and day out, he practiced all that he was taught and quickly rose through the ranks. Eventually, he became the head instructor, personally teaching the most advanced students.
Ueyar’s passing was felt for many miles around his home, as he had lived a long and full life, dying a relatively peaceful death. The villages and hamlets around the monastery sent many gifts to ease the suffering of those who knew him best. However, all these actions echoed hollowly.
Upon his death, Ueyar’s soul traveled to the Elemental Plane of Air, where he made a significant impact, dislodging the current deity and assuming the title himself. Initially determined to make a difference, he quickly discovered that the plane and its inhabitants were indifferent to his plans and successes. Over time, their indifference broke him.
Accepting the plane’s inherent apathy, Ueyar embraced it fully, becoming the greatest example of what the plane had to offer: nothing. He became the god of apathy, a true reflection of the Elemental Plane of Air’s indifference.
Dogma
To say Ueyar teaches the virtues of apathy would miss the mark. He cares to little to teach. His followers adopt a ‘go with the flow’ mentality, letting go of their worries and ambitions, embracing a carefree and whimsical existence. His followers believe in the futility of striving for recognition and the value of living a life unburdened by concerns.

Worshipers
Few worship the wind, the air, or the atmosphere. Most take it for granted or don’t pay it much mind. However, there are a few odd faiths that turn their gaze upwards and worship the winds that are ever-present. Most of these followers are seafarers, as the wind is crucial for their journeys. The rare sorcerer may worship Ueyar, if they have innate powers connected to the Plane of Air.
