The Eights

The Eights are a guild of Haudh-Gwenn, middling in size, and everything said about them was said in one evening. Koa was asking around the city about the Mól ruins at its center, and a man who went down into them for jelly told him the guild holding the place was called the Eights, or the Eight Smashes, and that he paid a fee at the door. Upstairs was a door that stayed shut, which he had never opened and did not think anybody had.

He had the ruins wrong. The crew on that ground is the Silver Web, and the fee and the man on the door are theirs. Nothing else about the Eights was ever written down: not a member, not a house, not a trade.
