Edrick’s club, and the reason there were prisoners left to question after the slaver cave. A length of wood, hollowed out, with an iron rod run down the middle of it: light enough in the hand to swing fast, heavy enough at the end to put a man down without opening him up.

He lent it to Koa for that purpose. The first guard went down under it and was arranged to look asleep, which bought the party their quiet and cost the guard nothing worse than a headache. Koa gave it back before they parted at Haudh-Gwenn.

It has a name, and Edrick has never explained it.
