Oil of Magic Weapon

A translucent, very slow-moving oil with something silvery turning over inside it, stoppered oddly. Rubbed into a blade it will make an indifferent weapon cut like a good one for a short while, and then it is spent.

The first came to Koa from Phillipa on the morning after her husband’s burial, along with a healing potion and the compass. She whispered two words over them: no mercy.

It was one of the few things the party bought again whenever there was money for it. One went onto Koa’s greatsword before the pit fight under Haudh-Gwenn, another onto the same sword the night they killed the mind-mage. Whether any were left in the kit at the end was never written down.
