Potion of Hidden Presence
Brewed from a piece of the one who wants to go unseen, and drunk by the one who is not to see them
The second of the two potions taken off the erratic woman’s body, and by a distance the stranger of them.
The working behind it is an enchantment, and one ordinarily laid on somebody else rather than on oneself. Brewed into a potion it keeps that shape exactly. The draught is prepared with a piece of the person who wants to go unseen, hair or the like, and it is then drunk by the person who is not to see them. Using it at all therefore means getting a vial down the throat of the one creature it is aimed at.
What follows is total. The drinker cannot see, hear, smell, feel or taste the person the potion was made from. Blindsight will not turn them up, nor blindsense, nor tremorsense, nor magic meant for detecting; the drinker cannot even say where in a room they are standing. It works on one creature at a time, and it ends the moment the hidden person attacks them or plainly moves to.
