Jahi Rasi

The younger of the two Rasi brothers, both Hafuwë, and both hired onto the Idir Expedition through Whent to strip Wraithblade Keep of relics. Where Eralan scouted, Jahi wrote things down. Who had paid for the job and what the terms were had gone into his notes, because he was the one who kept track of that kind of detail, and when his brother was finally awake enough to be asked those questions he reached for the notes before he remembered they were gone.

The goblins took the crew apart in the dark. Koa cut the one moving cocoon out of the webbed cellar and it was Eralan. Every other shape down there was a husk or a skeleton, and Jahi was one of them. What was done to him, and in what order, was never established by anybody who went down there. Eralan came round a week later at the company’s estate, asked for Jahi before he asked for anything else, and had to be told twice.
