In Ikhtar Officer

There are only three ways someone can become an officer in the Peredhel military. The first is to be a peren born in Peredhel who chose to serve In Ikhtar. The second is to be a non-peren born in Peredhel (or peren born outside of Peredhel) who chose to serve In Ikhtar at least twice. Each time enlisting they maintained an impressive service record. The final is to be any soldier from any background serving their In Ikhtar who was promoted to officer directly from the Master of War in the province where they serve. This finally has only happened a dozen or so time in all of Peredhel history.

Benefit(s): When you select this trait, you gain Martial Weapon Proficiency with bastard swords.

Your exceptional service allows you to begin play with an ornate masterwork bastard sword. As long as this sword is on your person, you gain a +2 on Diplomacy checks with Peredhel soldiers.
