It matters not if you ever even saw battle: your intense drills and training have left you with the feeling of a bastard sword hilt in your hands even when you sleep at night.

Benefit(s): When you select this trait, you gain Martial Weapon Proficiency with bastard swords. Moreover, you begin play with the bastard sword you held during your time in In Ikhtar.

• Exotic Weapon Proficiency with bastard swords;

• a +1 trait bonus on attacks of opportunity with bastard swords;

• a +2 trait bonus on one kind of combat maneuver with with bastard swords;
