Earth

Earth is the opposite condition to Air in every particular: not emptiness but continuous substance, stone unbroken to every horizon and dense past bearing. A traveler there occupies only the space they can make, and keeps it only while they can hold it.

The seat belongs to Mother Jerta. Jerta Catan, the Mother of Magic, and the first mortal the histories can name as having become a god. She was a Terrane before she was a goddess. The Stoneborn hear whispers in Mól-worked stone; whether the whispers are hers has never been established.
