STANDING: PEOPLE · GOBLIN-KIN

The peoples the Mól called goblin-kin were one race, out of one region, and everything they are now was done to them afterward. Over more than a thousand years they were bred, and they refined themselves by alchemy, into four primary subgroups: hobgoblins, bugbears, a goblin type, and a fourth that was named only in passing.

Baseline goblins were the stock the work was done on. They were the material rather than the beneficiaries, and the program that used them did not stop with goblin-kin: other peoples were engineered along the way, and the Peren came out of the same effort.

Later, under the Empire, a great clan could count one of these peoples as its own blood. The Zarkhi goblins were Clan Zarkhûn’s.
