Mól-metal stone
The dull gray, ore-veined stone the Mól built with, still holding up the oldest walls in Loshev
Dull gray stone with ore running through it in veins, and it holds up the oldest things standing in Loshev: the town hall, and the bridge that carries the south road over the river. The same stone runs through every Mól ruin anyone has yet walked into. How it was worked was never discovered. No mason in the town has ever explained it, and none has matched it.
The veining was called silver for generations and is not silver. Hinta, cleaning and authenticating three Mól blades in Loshev, named it electrum, which is what Mól work channels magic through, in a wall as readily as in a blade (S2E21). The stone carries current and magnetism along with it and tarnishes where it discharges, which is how a keep’s locks could be wired to kill whoever opened one the wrong way.
Kithul hears whispers in it. He does not claim to understand them, and nobody else has heard them at all.
Where it was quarried, or whether it was quarried rather than made, was never written down.
