Sword dance

The Free Folk are famous for their sword dance. The steps are customary steps, worked around a saber that is twisted and swung about the body at speed. Men and women dance it alike, and children are seen performing it too. The more skilled add a second blade, and more acrobatic movement with it.

Groups also choreograph mock battles between themselves, staging particular events out of their history. A people who keep no written account of their own keep that much of one in the dance.
