Hunters' guild
The guild that contracted the breastplate mercenary, and held him to the job after he wanted out of it
The guild that employed the breastplate mercenary, who was hunting the Valiant Few in Haudh-Gwenn when they took him, works its members on blind contracts: a man signs before he is told what the work is or who it is for. Eating a bad one is how he climbs what he called the different rungs, and reneging on one, in his words, would not go well. What it would cost him he would not say. He was willing enough to change sides, but he negotiated the terms of his own release from the contract rather than simply walking away from it.
Whether it keeps its rolls in Idir, in Peredhel, or across the whole continent has never been established.
“Things aren't the way they used to be over at the guild.”
