Sarro family

The bank in Haudh-Gwenn was a family holding before it was a Grayeras one, and the family was Peren. Asked outright which house had run it, the bugbear Daric gave one name and no more of it than that: Rashid.

His crew had taken them out of town at night, months before anybody in the company connected the two things, bound and gagged on a wagon, and the wagon changed hands once it was clear of the town. Who took it on from there, and where it went, he did not know. Whent supplied the rest of it later and went white in the face doing so: he had been told the family needed to disappear, which is not work a man does himself, so he had paid the Crimson Shroud in gold through a woman called Dusk and left them to arrange it. He insisted they had been put away alive and said he had made sure of that much, and then admitted he had no idea how such people operate or where they put anybody. Where the family was put was never discovered.

The councilman was not on it. He kept his chair and sits on the council still, and what went out of the gate that night was his household without him. Sarro Rashid still sits on the council. Nobody else of his house has been seen in Haudh-Gwenn since, and the bank has not come back to them.
