Aquan belongs to the Primordial family of tongues. The general survey of the tongues of Erôth gives its usual speakers as water-based creatures, and holds that it is written as well as spoken, in the stamped hand shared across the inner planes.

Nothing further about it was ever written down, and no one has been heard speaking it, reading it, or setting down a word of it.
