Primordial - family

Primordial is not itself a language. It is instead a language family.

This script is more like stamped hieroglyphs than a normal alphabet. This is the basic script for all creature of the ‘inner planes’.

Four tongues belong to it, one to each of the elemental Inner Planes: Aquan among the creatures of Water, Auran among those of Air, Ignan among those of Fire, and Terran among those of Earth. Auran alone of the four is spoken and never written.

The survey of the tongues of Erôth gives an inspiration for every family it lists: Arabic behind Mól, Enochian behind Aetherium, Eastern Asian behind Draconic. For Primordial it gives only ‘unintelligible’, and Primordial is the only family it lists that way.
