Samira

One of the three Peren who walked the company up to Vigil under a merchant's cover, and the one who did the deciding on the road

STANDING: ALLY · ESCORT ON THE ROAD

A Peren woman, one of the three who took the company north out of Haudh-Gwenn to Vigil behind a covered wagon, and the one who made the calls on the road. She greeted the party at the river camp as the Valiant Few, which told them the escort had been following what they had been doing in the city.

She was careful about noise. When another of the escort asked whether Mikhail would play, having wanted to hear the song for the whole trek, Samira turned it down on the spot: that was a bit risky, was it not, such loud notes carrying on the wind. Later the same night she sent everyone to bed with a line that turned out to be how she talked. It was early and therefore it was late; anyone not on the watch should sleep, because there was a long trek tomorrow, today even. Offered extra hands for the watch, she declined them.

Under the loose merchant clothing all three of them were wearing thin plate and carrying swords they had not carried inside the city. Hers barely made a sound, which Koa put down to how she moved.
