Tazion steel

Tazion steel comes out of Taziondale, and it is the metal every other metal in the north is measured against. Hinta, handed a stamped ingot of Draz Steel and asked what it was, called Draazstone’s own steel the best metal to be had for several hundred miles in any direction, and then named the one exception to that. Tazion steel is better. Nothing else is.

Knowing that is not the same as buying it. The nearest place a person out of Loshev could actually put money down for it is Zatichsk, north through the Vala, and the price at the end of that road is high even for someone who has made the journey.
