Ideopan
A person's own chosen set of patron gods, kept privately and invoked by name
An ideopan is the set of gods a person keeps for themselves, chosen rather than inherited, and carried without a temple, a priest, or anyone else’s approval. It is not a pantheon in the scholarly sense. A pantheon is a description of the divine; an ideopan is a list of who a particular person actually talks to.
Koa keeps seven: Krelene, Caldor, the Martyr, Snaga, Marg, Thalindra, and Vroga Waruk. Fire and balance, endurance and the forge, death, the road, and a fair fight. They are not gods who agree with one another.
Two of them he says out of habit: Snaga to bless the blade before he uses it, and Vroga Waruk for a fair fight before he swings it. The others come out when the moment asks for them: Thalindra for luck, once in a pre-assault speech to the whole company and heckled for it, and the Martyr’s mercy over a man he thought should have been struck down.
